Privacy Policy

Effective 4 November 2026

This policy explains what Audited Money does with information when you use https://auditedmoney.com. The site is for education only. We are not financial advisors, and we do not ask for a portfolio in order to advise you.

1. Who is responsible

the operator of Audited Money is the operator of the site and the party responsible for the limited personal information described here. There is no separate advisory firm, broker, or fund behind the pages.

A monitored contact address has not been published yet. When one is set in the site configuration, it will appear here. Until then, do not send personal information to this website.

2. What this policy covers

This policy covers the public website. It does not cover sites we link to. We do not operate user accounts, comment forms, newsletters, or payment checkout on this site.

3. Information we collect

We store a record of your cookie choice, and the web server writes a short access log. If you allow analytics or advertising, Google sets its own cookies and receives technical data from your browser. Those Google tags are not loaded if you refuse them.

Preference record

When you make a choice in the notice, your browser stores which terms version you accepted and whether analytics and advertising are allowed. The record does not include your name or email. It is stored in two places so the notice can stay closed:

NameWhereWhat it storesHow long
am_consent First-party cookie Terms version, and whether analytics and advertising are allowed 180 days
am_consent Local storage The same choice, plus the time you made it Until you clear it, or until the cookie policy version changes
_ga, _ga_* Google Analytics, only after you allow analytics A client identifier used to tell visits apart and to measure pages Up to 2 years, set by Google
Google advertising cookies, such as IDE Google ads, only after you allow advertising Measure and help select ads Set by Google, often up to 13 months in the EEA

Our preference cookie is set with Secure and SameSite=Lax. It is not itself an advertising identifier. We do not use it to recognize you across other websites.

Server logs

The web server writes a standard access log when a page is requested. A log line can include your IP address, the date and time, the URL, the status code, the referring URL, and the user-agent string of your browser. Those logs are rotated daily. About 14 daily files are kept, and older files are deleted. We use the logs to operate the site, to diagnose errors, and to respond to abuse. We do not use them to build a marketing profile or to sell data.

4. Information we do not collect

We do not ask for your brokerage login, wallet seed, government ID, or a list of your positions. Do not send those. If you send them anyway, they do not become part of an account file, because there is no account system. Mail sent to an address that is not monitored is not a reliable way to reach us. We do not sell our server logs. We do not run a fingerprinting script of our own.

We do not use the information we hold to make automated decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects.

5. Why we use the information

  • To present the site and keep it secure.
  • To remember that you accepted the current terms, and whether you allowed analytics or advertising, so the notice is not shown on every page.
  • If you allow analytics, to measure visits and which pages are used, through Google Analytics.
  • If you allow advertising, to show and measure Google ads.
  • To investigate abuse, such as attempts to break the server.
  • To meet a legal duty if one actually applies to a specific request.

If a data-protection law such as the GDPR applies, the bases we rely on are: legitimate interests in running and securing the site (for server logs), storage of your terms and cookie choice so we can honor it (for the preference record), and consent for Google Analytics and for advertising. Refusing those categories, or clearing the saved choice, withdraws that consent. Tags already sent to Google before you withdraw are controlled by Google under its own policy.

6. Cookies

A cookie is a small file a site asks your browser to keep. “Local storage” is a similar store inside the browser. The notice has three categories:

  • Necessary. Always on. It stores am_consent so we know your terms and cookie choice. The site does not wait for a separate opt-in for this record.
  • Analytics. Off unless you allow it. Google Analytics then loads and may set _ga cookies. We use that to count visits and see which pages are used. We do not use it to show you a personal trade recommendation.
  • Advertising. Off unless you allow it. Google ad tags then load and may set advertising cookies. Those cookies can be used to measure ads and, where the law allows, to help select them. A browser Global Privacy Control signal keeps this category off.

The notice has two actions. Accept means you agree to the Terms of Service, this Privacy Policy, and cookies, including the necessary preference plus Google Analytics and advertising. Deny does not store a choice. The notice tells you that you will be redirected off this page, and confirming that leaves the site. You can read the Terms and the Privacy Policy from the notice before you choose. “Cookie settings” in the footer opens the notice again. Clearing cookies in your browser does not delete server logs already written, and it does not delete cookies Google already set.

You can also block cookies in your browser. If you block storage, the notice will appear again, because the site cannot see that you already agreed.

7. Who receives information

The hosting provider that serves this website processes requests and stores the server logs on our behalf. We do not sell those logs to data brokers. We may disclose information if the law requires it, or if it is reasonably necessary to investigate abuse of the server. If you allow analytics or advertising, Google receives the technical data those tags send, including cookie identifiers, pages, and approximate location derived from IP address. Google’s own privacy terms describe what it does with that data: policies.google.com/privacy and policies.google.com/technologies/ads.

8. International visitors

The site can be read from outside the country where the server sits. Technical data such as an IP address is processed on that server. If you use the site from elsewhere, that information is handled in the country of the server. We do not claim a particular transfer framework beyond what the law requires for this limited processing.

9. How long we keep it

The preference cookie lasts up to 180 days, or until you clear it. The matching local-storage record lasts until you clear it or the cookie-policy version changes. Google Analytics cookies last up to about 2 years. Google advertising cookies often last up to about 13 months in the EEA. Server logs are kept for about 14 days under the server’s daily rotation, unless a longer hold is required to deal with an active abuse or legal matter. We do not keep a separate customer database.

10. Security

The site is served over HTTPS. The preference cookie is marked Secure. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure. Because we do not ask you to create an account or to submit financial records, do not volunteer them.

11. Children

The site is not directed at anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Advertising tags are not a way for us to build a child’s profile. The information the site itself is built to receive is the technical data in a server log and the preference record, plus whatever Google receives if a visitor over 18 allows those tags.

12. Your choices and rights

You can refuse analytics, refuse advertising, or clear the preference record with “Cookie settings” in the footer. You can also remove Google’s cookies in your browser’s site-data controls.

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, or a copy of personal information a controller holds about you, and to object to or restrict certain processing. You may also have a right to lodge a complaint with a data-protection authority.

What we actually hold is described above: a short-lived server log line, and a preference record that lives in your own browser rather than in an account. We do not have a profile we can look up by name. A request that does not include enough detail for us to find a log line cannot be matched to one person. We will not ask you to send identity documents or account statements in order to make a request.

Residents of US states with consumer privacy laws, including the CCPA and CPRA, can treat this as our notice at collection. We do not sell our server logs. If you allow advertising cookies, Google may use them for cross-context advertising, which California law can treat as a “share.” Refusing advertising cookies is the opt-out of that share. We do not offer a financial incentive for personal information. We will not discriminate against you for exercising a privacy right. A browser Global Privacy Control signal is treated as a refusal of advertising cookies. Do Not Track is not a separate switch beyond that.

13. Changes

Google Analytics and Google ads are described above and stay unloaded until you allow the matching category. A later change to this policy will change the effective date. A change to the cookie categories will show the notice again.

14. Contact

A monitored contact address has not been published yet. When one is set in the site configuration, it will appear here. Until then, do not send personal information to this website.

Please do not include account numbers, identity documents, seed phrases, or your holdings in a privacy request.
